Synergis opens first branch office in Birmingham, Alabama

BIRMINGHAM, January 15, 2008 - Synergis, a leading provider of IT staffing services based in Atlanta, opened a branch office in Birmingham and also announced the promotion of Brad Pickering to Branch Manager.

Synergis has provided services in Birmingham for the past 10 years and has maintained an on-site office co-located at the Alabama Power offices in downtown Birmingham.  Staff additions in early 2007 led to a 320% increase in Synergis’ business in the Birmingham metropolitan area and to the subsequent decision to open a branch office.  The office is on Highway 280 near I-459.

Synergis’ large increase in business in the Birmingham area has been attributed in large part to the addition of Brad Pickering to the Synergis team.

Brad Pickering is a Birmingham native, an Eagle Scout and graduate of the University of Alabama.  Mr. Pickering has nine years of experience in the IT staffing industry, and has worked on large national accounts such as Alabama Power and its parent company, Southern Company; BellSouth, Cingular, T-Mobile, Habitat for Humanity, Cox Communications and others.  Mr. Pickering joined the Synergis team in February of 2007.
