Our clients DeepMind Student Researcher Program (SRP) is a cornerstone of our talent and research strategy, designed to accelerate research breakthroughs by engaging emerging talent from around the world. This role is a critical part of the central GDM SRP team, responsible for the daily execution and operational excellence of the program. You will work in close partnership with the SRP Program Manager, Staffing teams, and stakeholders across all GDM Units to ensure a smooth and impactful experience for students and their hosts.
Overall Responsibilities:
As the Program Coordinator, you will drive the day-to-day execution of the Student Researcher Program. Your responsibilities will include managing student contract approvals, overseeing program-wide budget tracking, administering the Salesforce platform for project and candidate management, and acting as a primary liaison for our intern staffing partners. You will play a key role in coordinating with Unit Delegates to ensure seamless program delivery across DeepMind.
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
- Program Coordination and Stakeholder Partnership: Act as the central point of contact for daily operational inquiries, manage partnerships with Unit Delegates, and coordinate with the Intern Staffing team to facilitate hiring and onboarding processes.
- Tooling and Process Management: Administer the Salesforce tooling for the program, manage student contract workflows, and support the approval and tracking of projects and candidates.
- Communications and Program Support: Execute the program's communication plan by updating the GDM SRP microsite, notifying stakeholders of key deadlines, and preparing program-wide announcements and hiring materials.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience in a program coordination, project management, or administrative support role.
- Proficiency using Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous leadership experience.
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior experience communicating decisions directly with senior leadership teams.
- Experience with Salesforce tooling.
- Experience with program management, LLMs, and data tooling.
- Familiarity with working in a large, matrixed organization, preferably within a technology or research environment.
- Interest in academic collaborations, talent acquisition, or early-career program management.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative on assigned tasks.
The hourly pay range for this position is $69.30 to $94.01/hr (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
