UX Designer
TITLE: UX Designer
LOCATION: Mountain View, CA
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 7 months
Responsibilities:
- Independently complete end-to-end UX design tasks within projects or programs
- Identify, define, and communicate problems within the team and deliver solutions
- Analyze user needs, requirements, and improve design solutions based on testing and stakeholder input
- Create design concepts such as mock-ups, prototypes, or models for product development and user research/testing
- Assist in design and testing processes and support a cohesive design vision with partners
- Adapt design solutions to evolving constraints and communicate rationale for design choices
- Apply UX design frameworks, principles, patterns, and systems
- Leverage standard tools to visualize ideas or develop mock-ups and prototypes
- Tailor design deliverables to product or platform requirements with minimal guidance
- Follow design templates, style guides, and accessibility guidelines
- Iteratively improve design based on UX testing and stakeholder feedback
- Communicate design approach to colleagues and stakeholders
- Use data and metrics to evaluate product impact
- Collaborate with team members on understanding user trends, industry insights, and developing solutions
- Plan and prioritize design work across projects and communicate priorities
- Collaborate with engineers to convey and influence design implementation
- Manage specifications for design implementation
- Develop design solutions considering user insights, business needs, and industry trends
Requirements:
- 4 years of conversation design experience in product design or UX
- Include a portfolio, website, or relevant link to work in resume
- Experience working with enterprise software
- Proficiency in product design, craftsmanship, systems thinking, data analysis, and user behavior
- Knowledge of the product development lifecycle, interactive technology, storytelling, presentations, and UX research methodology
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working with mapping software and/or data visualization platforms (strongly preferred)

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $70.00 to $97.89 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
