Validation Engineer
Title: Validation Engineer
Location: Cupertino, CA 95014
Duration: 6 Months
Join our innovative team as a Validation Engineer and play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and performance of cutting-edge touchscreen hardware. In this dynamic position, you’ll design and execute data gathering and performance tests on System and third-party devices, contributing to the development of world-class products in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise will help validate electrical systems, troubleshoot issues, and enable seamless user experiences across our hardware offerings.**
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with test execution, characterization, and board-level validation
- Strong knowledge of noise mitigation techniques, including shielding and grounding
- Proficiency with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, and spectrum analyzers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with macOS, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), and our productivity tools
- Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams to identify root causes of hardware issues
Nice to Have Skills:
- Knowledge of Python scripting for automation
- Ability to handle equipment weighing up to 25 lbs as needed
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
- Prior experience in hardware validation or testing environments
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work in Sunnyvale or Cupertino, CA
- Willingness to move and set up testing equipment as necessary

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $60.00 to $80.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
