TITLE: BI Analyst
LOCATION: Remote
ANTICIPATED DURATION: Contract to Perm (no sponsorship)
BI Analyst Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, implement, and support mission-critical enterprise business intelligence dashboards and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document reporting requirements to meet business needs.
- Use Tableau and SQL to create and maintain reports and dashboards, drawing data from the organization's data warehouse.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through established quality control techniques.
- Provide technical assistance and cross-training to other team members and offer support for existing and new dashboards and reports.
- Lead training sessions, both web-based and on-site, for end-users on relevant reports and dashboards.
- Work independently or as part of a team to ensure timely project delivery, using strong interpersonal communication skills.
BI Analyst Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as accounting, computer science, economics, finance, mathematics, or statistics.
- 4-6 years of experience developing and implementing enterprise-scale reports and dashboards.
- Strong expertise with Tableau (4-6 years) and SQL (4-6 years).
- Experience in retail or healthcare sectors (4-6 years).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for project-based collaboration.
- Ability to manage and adjust to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
BI Analyst Preferred Experience:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Tableau Desktop Certified Professional certification and SQL certification.
- Experience with User Experience Design (UXD) and User Interface Design (UID).
- Programming/scripting experience with SQL Server Reporting Services.
- Familiarity with data integration issues, validation, and cleaning complex data sets.
- Experience with R, Python, or ArcGIS is a plus.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $40 to $50(dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k, and commuter benefits.
