TITLE: Strategy and Operations Data Analyst
LOCATION: 100% Remote
ANTICIPATED DURATION: End of 2025

The Strategy, Impact, and Enablement team helps the organization deliver on its ambitious promise to create a more equitable world by bringing the best of our client to everyone. They do that by focusing on the following areas:

• Strategy: Shape strategic direction, ensuring a data-informed and collaborative approach.
• Operations: Enable smooth daily operations for our client, including a robust infrastructure for global philanthropy, education, and research funding.
• Evaluation: Enable holistic, evidenced-based decisions through an increased understanding of our client’s collective impact 
• Organization: Foster a place where everyone can grow, belong, and thrive.

We are seeking an experienced Analytics expert to join the team in order to support as a data program manager.

Strategy and Operations Data Analyst Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include supporting an organizational workstream of data requests, including:

• Manage data requests: Receive, prioritize, and track incoming data requests from various stakeholders across the organization via established channels.
• Data extraction and validation: Pull data from relevant sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Validate the data against established criteria and reconcile discrepancies.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work with subject matter experts, data stewards, and legal/compliance teams to ensure data requests meet internal policies and regulatory requirements. Facilitate approvals for external data sharing.
• Process optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the data request workflow. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce turnaround time.
• Data governance and standardization: Collaborate with data governance teams to establish clear data definitions, standards, and procedures for data requests. Contribute to the development and maintenance of a knowledge base or database of approved data requests.
• Automation and innovation: Explore and leverage technologies like AI and machine learning to automate data extraction, validation, and reporting processes. Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
• Occasionally will need to support other areas of the StratOps organization, as needed.

 
Strategy and Operations Data Analyst Requirements:

• +5 years of work experience in program/project management, data analytics, consulting, or other strategic work.
• Impeccable attention to detail. Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills. 
• Partnership management experience, including establishing and maintaining productive relationships with internal teams and external parties. 
• Experience effectively collaborating with a cross-functional team.
• Comfortable with basic programming: SQL Querying, JavaScript, Apps Script, etc.
• Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced environment and strict timelines.
• Experience with data analysis and representation, comfortable with Google spreadsheets, pivot tables, and other more advanced data representation systems.

Strategy and Operations Data Analyst Preferred Experience:

• Experience in social impact
• Experience collaborating with technical teams 

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $60 to $65 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
