What does the day to day look like?
The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment with a diverse team for a very large program that will transform how our customers interact with our company.  The day-to-day work will consist of providing technical direction to a dynamic team of analysts to accomplish the tasks, milestones set by the program.  This analyst will also be a point of escalation for any problems or issues to determine any additional resource needs and works closely with leadership ensure visibility by the appropriate people.  Also, will get an opportunity to help develop junior members on the team to bring them up to speed on the platforms and products that our team will be responsible for. 

We are looking for someone who is highly proficient in Oracle technologies and solutions and can provide technical support and direction to a team of people.  Also, should have great organizational, writing, and speaking skills to be able to communicate with a variety of audiences.  This person would be expected to teach and develop others to help increase the bench strength of the team in supporting the program.  This person would also be able to jump in and support their team members in resolving complex issues that might arise and understand which additional resources need to be engaged to resolve those issues.  This person will also be a point of technical contact for other teams needing support and resources from the team and provide consulting using product knowledge/expertise to other teams as needed.

  • Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in Oracle middleware platforms and applications such as WebLogic, C2M, MDM, CC&B, etc.
  • Experience influencing and leading others
  • Experience in Oracle Cloud technologies such as OCI, CX, etc.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is desirable or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10 or more years of experience in IT (Information Technology), with at least 5 years implementing and supporting Oracle related middleware components like WebLogic. 
  • Overall 5+ years of experience in implementing/supporting for Oracle Utilities (C2M, CC&B, MDM, etc) solutions.
  • Strong product knowledge of Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (C2M, CC&B, MDM) or any relevant products running on Oracle – including design, development, configuration, and enhancements.
  • Experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Service Cloud (CX).
  • Strong product knowledge of Oracle WebLogic 12c, installing, configuring, troubleshooting.  
  • Hands on experience in Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) desired
  • Hands on experience in C2M, CC&B, and MDM or other applications running on Oracle platforms in the last 3 years.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of information technology with an extensive understanding of application development technologies and methodologies. 
  • Good understanding of Oracle MDM and CC&B Data Models.
  • Experience with integrating with Oracle Cloud desired. (OCI, CX, SOA)
  • Experience with configuring OEM and other monitoring tools for CC&B/MDM a plus.  
  • Ability to assist the Testing team with the functional areas to be tested.
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting.
  • Experience providing technical direction and expertise to others as well.
  • Experience with leading others without authority to accomplish a directive or project.    
  • Demonstrated consulting skills, initiative to influence change, proactive thinker.
  • The individual will need to be able to function in a fast-paced changing environment, manage changing priorities, be responsive, dependable, and discerning when supporting the business and coworkers.  
  • The individual must multi-task efficiently, manage projects, work independently with little supervision, and keep assignments organized by planning their work and meeting project deadlines.
  • Knowledge of DevOps and API design management is desirable.
  • Experience in managing multiple small projects and initiatives.
  • Membership of the Insider Threat Program (ITP)
  • Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
