Synergis is hiring an Application & Technical Systems Analyst. As the Application & Technical Systems Analyst, you will provide technical application support, investigate, manage, track support issues, specifically related to database and functions of application. This position performs analytical, technical, and administrative work in efforts to support local and remote end-users. This position will also provide a level of tech support related to new user setup including Active Directory and basic hardware support.

Job Type: Full-Time (8 Hour Shift, Monday to Friday)

Specific tasks and activities include:

·      Problem analysis and resolution (production support)

·      Root cause analysis

·      Addressing application life cycle management

·      Production support; 1st line of support / case management

·      Impact analysis (functional, application risk assessment)

·      Manage production deployments, production verification testing and user implementation support

·      User acceptance coordination with customer / bug tracking

·      Troubleshooting and resolving application quality issues

·      Application life cycle management

·      Compliance and change management controls adherence

·      Application vendor interface and support

·      Work as part of a project team to aid in the rollout of new applications, upgrades, and enhancements

·      Perform basis system administration tasks including setup of user profiles and security access (maintain policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of business applications)

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

·      Ability to establish and maintain quality relationships with internal customer groups, team members and management, and vendors

·      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required

·      Must be able to manage production support and project-related activities simultaneously

·      Ability to work effectively with limited direct supervision

·      Risk assessment / mitigation skills

·      Excellent customer service skills

·      Strong communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment

·      Technical writing skills

·      Ability to gather and document business / functional requirements

·      Ability to estimate project costs and timelines

·      Self-starter and demonstrate initiative

·      Ownership of issues through resolution

·      Knowledge of Windows operating systems, networks, and hardware desired

·      Experience working with Office 365 applications, SharePoint, Teams and PowerBI is a plus

The Experience You Will Need (Required):

·      Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, IT-related degree, or related field

·      1-3 years of Application Support experience

·      Experience with third party systems covering Finance / HR / CRM functions

·      Experience in Project Management

·      Sound analytical skills with the ability to successfully troubleshoot and problem solve

·      Ability to communicate and work with technical and non-technical audience

·      Ability to work unsupervised, a self-starter who seeks improvement without direction with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

·      Able to be flexible an adaptable in a changing environment and able to learn new applications, concepts, and skills
