Our Fortune 500 is looking for a CMS Author to join their team. Using content management system, this person will be responsible to support day-to-day site maintenance on our partner branded credit card websites. Attention to detail and strict branding guidelines is critical in this role.

 

CMS Author Responsibilities:

  • AEM Authors assigned to product teams need to be patient and tactful as they advocate for best practices related to AEM.
  • Support multiple teams with content authoring in AEM pages using Content Fragments.
  • Offer CMS and web development solutions to meet project requirements.
  • Work with the UX team, backend developers, and QA partners to create, update, and test new pages for various projects.
  • All digital assets must be coded to meet WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, QA, content strategists and UX designers to deliver projects
  • Qualified candidates must have experience designing responsive websites using Bootstrap with CSS and HTML to create pages based from either Photoshop, Invision or Figma mockups.
  • Resolve defects after QA testing and page reviews with strong understanding of Accessibility concerns.
  • Educate UX team on AEM best practices during page build and component testing.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, QA, content strategists and UX designers to deliver projects

CMS Author Requirements: 
 

  • SEO and A11Y best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of UI design.
  • Some experience Jira story organization.
  • Advanced knowledge of AEM best practices such as page property configuration, version control, and DAM asset management.
  • Content management system best practices.
  • Web programming principles.
  • No JavaScript, VBScript, Perl, Flash, or CGI principles required for this role.

CMS Author Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Deque testing tools is preferred.
