Instructional Designer

Direct Hire | Full Time | 100% Remote

 

Synergis’ client, a leading provider and fast-growing Car Wash, has engaged us in a search for an Instructional Designer to join their team. Our client is looking for an Instructional Designer to come in and help develop and publish training materials for onboarding new employees.

 

Instructional Designer | Background and Scope

  • Responsible for creating instructional materials, assessments, performance support documents, and other learning deliverables
  • Create analysis documents, design documents, storyboards, and final learning deliverables that align to the overall business goals
  • Outline and scope projects to build learning solutions that are compelling using project-based templates and style guides
  • Consult with Training Manager and Subject Matter Experts to confirm analysis, strategize, and gather content
  • Test and debug deliverables for quality assurance
  • Create supporting material/media (audio, role plays, interactive online learning experiences, etc.)
  • Establish deliverables for all phases of the course creation lifecycle

 

Instructional Designer | Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required (Must be 18 years of age or older)
  • Strong written communication and people skills
  • 3 to 4 years’ experience with:
    • Proficient knowledge of Instructional Design and Adult Learning Theories
    • Basic knowledge of Project Management principals
  • Have an intermediate knowledge of standard eLearning development tools and software (Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise 360)

 

Instructional Designer | Preferred:

  • Master's or bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, HR Development, Organizational Development, or related field preferred
  • Experience within Learning Experience (LX) or User Experience (UX) Design

 

Instructional Designer | Other:

  • Any offer of employment will be contingent on the successful completion of a full background check / drug screen
  • Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer without requiring sponsorship
