ServiceNow Developer
6+ Month Contract to Hire

Synergis’ client, a premier North American consumer and commercial services company, has engaged us in a search for a ServiceNow Developer to augment their growing team!  The ServiceNow Developer is a technical position with daily activities that will include management and configuration of ServiceNow applications and modules, product development, and some system administration tasks.

ServiceNow Developer | Background and Scope 

  • Configures and Develops ServiceNow including routine changes or configuration adjustments 
  • The ServiceNow Developer performs management and configuration of ServiceNow applications and modules, product development, service automation, and system integrations.
  • Participates and manages development efforts pertaining to modules, applications, and major releases of the ServiceNow native platform and Service Portal
  • Participates in the configuration of new applications or suites during planning, requirement gathering, design, development, documentation, and rollout phases
  • Contributes to the strategic development of new platform customizations, as needed, based on customer needs
  • Participates in the collection and implementation of tool requirements and investigates as necessary to determine the best solution or configuration options available based on the specific requirement
  • Assesses architecture and current system limitations, defines, and designs system specifications, and evaluates input / output processes and working parameters for hardware / software compatibility
  • Coordinates design of subsystems and total system integration
  • Aids with report configuration and maintenance and performs operational administrative tasks, as needed
  • The ServiceNow Developer actively collaborates with other teammates to perform code reviews, discuss new developments and projects, and shadow other admins / developers as needed
ServiceNow Developer | Requirements
  • Degree, college equivalent, or vocational school equivalent preferred
  • 3 + years of prior ServiceNow experience as an administrator / developer
  • 3 + years’ experience with HTML, SQL, CSS, XML
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes a strong plus
  • Specific experience with ServiceNow Modules: 
    • ITSM
    • ITOM
    • CSM
    • IRM/GRC 
    • CMDB
  • The ServiceNow Developer will have exemplary customer service focus, building relationships and collaboration are key factors in the success for this individual
ServiceNow Development | Other:
  • Any offer of employment will be contingent on the successful completion of a full background check and drug screen
  • Currently a mix of remote and onsite 
  • Office environment is business professional environment
