Responsible for the design, development and maintenance of enterprise-level Web applications supporting the various customers of the Shared Services division of our organization. Enterprise Web applications are designed and created to support a myriad of business needs throughout the organization. Use knowledge of current best practices in Web application design to create fast, efficient and intuitive applications to assist customers in their day-to-day business activities. Work with Business Application Consultants to assist in requirements gathering and creative application design. Understand and follow an established SDLC for Web application projects. Handle help desk calls related to existing Web application questions and issues. Establish and maintain a positive relationship with customers at all levels of the organization. 

Sr. Fullstack Java Developer Job Duties:

• Assist with implementing, programming, analyzing and testing changes to newly released Enterprise Systems products and product updates.
• Provide training for Enterprise Systems application users on appropriate customer usage.
• Follow company and group policies and procedures during implementation projects and in daily support activities.
• Uses knowledge to complete system design and programming.
• Ability to share knowledge of common JavaEE application patterns, Spring and Struts framework, Java, AJAX, EXT/JS and JavaScript.
• Experience with various enterprise database management systems such as MS SQL Server and Oracle.
• Knowledge of database procedure and Crystal Reports development.
• Perform routine Enterprise Systems maintenance and enhancements.
• Provides support for Enterprise Systems users for system-related issues.
• Perform as a functional area expert in several application areas supported by the Enterprise Systems group.
• Perform required programming activities in support of Enterprise Systems.
• The Fullstack Java Developer will prepare and maintain web applications used by various Enterprise Systems customers.
• Assist in the resolution of Enterprise Systems daily issues related to data, application software, training and communication.
• Create materials necessary for documentation, status reports, training and standards.
• Assist in the development of standards and standard procedures to support a productive, secure, efficient Enterprise Systems environment.
• Support these standards in day to day activities.
• Proactively support the ideals and qualities set forth by the Enterprise Systems team. Participates in the Quality Assurance & Productivity Management processes.

 
Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting or Business
• Experienced professionals must have a proven track record of success with Enterprise System Applications.
• This person must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Enterprise systems programming, design, and development.
• Must be able to participate in large Enterprise System implementations on a daily basis and be able to communicate issues to management. A track record of implementing business process changes for Enterprise systems.
• Ability to support a technology organization in a complex, matrixed and highly customer-focused environment, that has a practical approach to the application of technology to the business.
• Must have a strong work ethic, and a high degree of credibility and integrity.
• Experience with business-to-technology analytical skills, and process analysis.
• Experience with third-party relationships.
• Experienced in prior projects including Enterprise Systems, and infrastructure upgrades, and conversant with current technologies.

 
Equivalent Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Enterprise systems development as well as the balance of the experience mentioned above.

Specialized Skills:

• Strong foundation of OO concepts and of JavaSE/Java/EE.
• Working knowledge of common JavaEE application patterns, Spring and Struts framework, Java, AJAX, EXT/JS and JavaScript.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to handle help desk calls and communicate directly with customers.
• Must have a good understanding of applicable Enterprise System software, platforms and components such as: UNIX OS, Windows OS, Netbeans, AJAX, Glassfish, WebLogic, WebSphere, SQL, SQL Server DTS, data modeling, Oracle and MS SQL Server.
• Must have application knowledge of one or more applicable Enterprise Systems disciplines.
• Knowledge of electric utility industry is a plus.
