Title: Technical Program Manager
Anticipated Duration: 6 Month Contract
Location: Mountain View, CA

Project Overview:
The Organizational Development team within PeopleDev is looking for a multidisciplinary program manager with a knack for driving strategic projects and an interest in organizational development and change. Our team is composed of a group of 20+ leads and practitioners who partner with leaders across our diverse set of businesses and PAs to launch and land business critical organizational development work — from culture change to M&A integration to top team effectiveness. This program manager will serve as a backbone across our work, enabling the success of our team and helping to build the OD capability at scale.

Technical Program Manager Overall Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Program Management  (Program manage strategic initiatives that help to build the OD capability )
    • Talent advisory capability building – build up an advisory group to help our team get up-to-speed on Talent 
    • OD network pilots – support a pilot program that seeks to build up an Organizational Development network across the org. 
    • CPOD strategy effectiveness  – Help the team refine its core strategy and capability 
    • CPOD L&D – Program manage learning and development programs for the team. 
  • M&A People Dev Capability Building (Operationalize and help land the M&A capability across PeopleDev. )
    • Triage of an incoming matrix of deals, coordinating across PeopleDev service offerings to ensure services are activated and effectively respond to the unique needs of each deal
    • Connect the ecosystem of M&A partners through regular cadence of communication and touchpoints  
    • Oversee continuous improvement cycles with various service provider owners from coaching to onboarding, helping owners initiate M&A experiments, implement them, measure their impact
    • Conduct PeopleDev M&A integration annual planning, from establishing OKRs to defining success criteria and ongoing resource requirements
    • Research industry best practices for M&A integration within HR services, helping to establish a baseline for what good looks like 
    • Keep materials related to the M&A service offering current and available to the ecosystem of partners.
  • Governance & Stakeholder management (Support the OD team and its ecosystem of partners stay connected through clear communication and timelines)
    • Source content for the OD Ops newsletter and send it out weekly 
    • Partner with the OD solutions team to support in the regular updating of the OD library and tool development 
    • Enable the regular updating of OD stakeholders within PeopleDev with annual planning meetings, stepbacks and communication updates 

Technical Program Manager Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:

Technical Program Manager Required Education, Experience and Skills:

  • BA/BS Degree required.
  • 6-8 years of experience in stakeholder management, project management, facilitation, ability to spot needs
  • 6-8 years in Project Management- Ability to run through set of needs and timelines 
  • 6-8 years in Stakeholder management – Ability to convene and align stakeholders on ambiguous goals through active facilitation
  • 6-8 years in Capability Building – Ability to provide guidance and thought partnership on how to build new capabilities within organizations

Technical Program Manager Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Previous work building capability within matrixed organizations, exposure to M&A
