Senior GIS Developer
TITLE: Senior GIS Developer
LOCATION: Remote
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 02/16/2026 to 02/16/2027
Responsibilities:
- Develop and support GIS applications.
- Assist team members and vendors with analysis, documentation, and testing of GIS environment changes.
- Work collaboratively with IT team members, management, and customers to identify and develop GIS solutions that meet business needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering required.
- 3 to 5 years experience with GIS application development or support.
- Experience with C#, Java, or other object-oriented programming languages.
- Working experience of ESRI's .NET or Java SDK required.
- Knowledge of Esri’s REST API preferred.
- Experience with Python is preferred.
- Experience in the utility industry is preferred.
- Experience with Oracle is preferred.
- Experience with TypeScript and Angular preferred.
- Working knowledge of ESRI JavaScript API preferred.
- Experience with Windows server administration and configuration preferred.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $60.00 to $100.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
