Content Producer
Job summary
The Apple People Experience team is looking for a contract content producer and publisher to work on internal platforms.
In this role, you’ll work with the project teams, SMEs and editors to help implementing a high volume of content updates for 51 countries.
You are an adept project manager who knows how to communicate effectively with key stakeholders and global business partners of all seniorities. You can see the big picture but will have a keen eye for detail, a knack for collaboration, and passion for content integrity and user experience. You will help write, rewrite, edit and stage content in the CMS, applying style and tone guidelines.
Key qualifications

5+ years of project management experience and maintaining content for high traffic sites

Experience with content management systems required

Experience with task management/ticketing system required

Proficient in writing clear and direct copy (UX writing experience a plus)

Experience editing content and implementing style guidelines

Basic knowledge of HTML

Organized, articulate, and detail-oriented

Efficient and reliable

Familiarity with HR programs a plus

Comfortable with ambiguity; has a flexible approach to process changes
Job description

Work with subject matter experts to develop and update content, articulating key messages in a way users will understand and that is consistent with Apple’s People content style guidelines.

Work with SMEs, editors, and other groups as necessary (Privacy, Legal) to manage content reviews.

Load new content to the CMS

Manage content change requests and content workflow.

Carefully track, prioritize and escalate tickets as needed.

Work closely with the localization partner to prepare and hand-off content for translation.
Education
BA or BS degree in English, journalism, or communications (or relevant field)

The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $45.00 to $62.35/hr. Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
