Job Title: AEM Developer (Sr. Software Engineer)
Contract Type: W2, 12-month contract
Location: United States – Hybrid preferred, remote possible
Overview
We are seeking a Senior AEM Developer to join our team on a 12-month W2 contract. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain mission-critical applications and services that support both customers and internal users. This is a hands-on engineering position requiring strong technical expertise, collaboration skills, and a focus on delivering scalable, high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities

Lead the technical design, development, and deployment of software solutions.

Build and maintain Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) applications.

Write and ship high-quality, efficient, and scalable code.

Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, usability, and maintainability requirements.

Stay up to date with emerging technologies and leverage them to improve products and services.

Identify opportunities for reuse through libraries, APIs, and shared services.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor new engineers.

Contribute to product and technical roadmaps.

Participate in coding, debugging, testing, and peer reviews.
Basic Qualifications
-
BA/BS in Computer Science or related field.

6+ years of software engineering experience.
-
Proficiency in Java (primary requirement); experience with Python or C++ a plus.

Strong knowledge of software development frameworks, tools, and methodologies.

Experience with database management and SQL.
-
Understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Hands-on experience developing and deploying AEM applications.

Proven track record of building large-scale, highly available systems in Java or Scala.

Experience with build systems, databases, and Linux-based infrastructures.

Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and system architecture.

Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $77.00 to $85.00/hr. Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
