Overall Responsibilities:
The temporary staff member will serve as a technical liaison, primarily managing the technical integration and data lifecycle for external global data providers. This role is critical for ensuring the reliable and timely flow of high-quality data necessary for key information features and for supporting a global program. A strategic component of this position includes stabilizing and documenting workflows, potentially contributing to the long-term goal of process standardization and vendorization.
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
- Data Provider Management: Serve as a technical contact for external partners, managing the technical specifications of data feeds. This includes gathering and integrating User Feedback by listening to the words, needs, requirements, and requests of partners and users to develop a Point of View (POV) on the business.
- Operational Support and Incident Triage: Use proprietary internal systems to initiate data loading, conduct data validation tests, and ensure ongoing data quality. This includes addressing urgent technical escalations related to the program.
- Process Definition and Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Partnerships teams to support operational discussions on data delivery and troubleshoot technical issues for the countries in scope. This involves updating documentation (SOPs) to reflect current procedures.
Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related engineering discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience:
- 6+ years of experience in a technical, partner-facing role such as Partner Technology Manager, Technical Account Manager, Solutions Consultant, or Technical Program Manager, with a focus on data integration, data quality, or supporting ML-driven products.
- Proven experience managing technical data feeds, including familiarity with common data structures and protocols (e.g., JSON, XML, CSV, Protobuf, REST APIs, SFTP).
- Demonstrated ability to triage, investigate, and resolve urgent technical escalations.
- Experience with incident management and ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA, Buganizer, or similar).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to act as a technical liaison between external partners and internal cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, Partnerships).
- Experience writing and maintaining technical documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and data-flow diagrams.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $110.00 to $126.11 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
