Business Process Analyst
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Anticipated Duration: 6-month Contract


The Business Analyst / Business Process Analyst (BA) will partner with stakeholders across the business to document, analyze and improve critical processes, ensuring our CR initiatives are supported by efficient workflows and robust systems. The BA will act as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions, helping capture requirements and business process design to shape how CR data, reporting and platforms are leveraged across the IHG (hotel and corporate, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document and visualize current business processes and workflows (e.g., Green Engage, HERO, Community Tracker, Meeting for Good, CSRD)
  • Identify pain points, inefficiencies, redundancies and opportunities for improvement through process mapping and analysis
  • Develop process maps and documentation using industry-standard tools and methodologies
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to validate findings, capture feedback and requirements
  • Recommend process improvements and change management impacts, ensuring alignment with CR objectives and needs
  • Partner with solution architects and analyze data from multiple sources
  • Define and document future-state requirements in collaboration with business and technical teams
  • Track and communicate progress through status reports and stakeholder updates
  • Contribute to solution design, whether process redesigns or system requirements, ensuring solutions are practical, scalable and aligned with business goals


Skills & Experience

  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to break down complex workflows
  • Proficiency in process mapping and visualization tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart)
  • Solid data literacy to interpret process performance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills for engaging diverse stakeholders
  • High technical aptitude with an interest in ESG-related platforms and emerging technologies
  • Creative problem-solving skills to recommend practical, impactful solutions
  • Prior experience in business process analysis, business analysis, or related roles (ESG, Corporate Responsibilities or technology sector exposure preferred)
