Hospital Compliance Analyst – Contract
Hourly Pay: $40/ hour
Location: Remote
Department: Compliance, Customer Success
Reports To: Compliance Manager
Our customer is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hospital Compliance Analyst to join their team. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct state-level analysis of Trauma Registry reporting requirements and configure the Trauma Registry to implement state-specific requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of trauma or medical practices, coupled with a business analyst and technical background.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of state-level Trauma Registry reporting requirements.
- Configure the client's Trauma Registry to meet state-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with state regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with reporting standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to Trauma Registry configurations and compliance processes.
- Provide training and support to hospital staff on Trauma Registry reporting and compliance.
- Monitor and audit Trauma Registry data to ensure accuracy and compliance with state regulations.
- Identify and address any discrepancies or issues in Trauma Registry reporting.
- Stay updated on changes in state regulations and update the Trauma Registry configurations accordingly.
- Work closely with IT and clinical teams to ensure seamless integration of Trauma Registry configurations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare compliance, trauma registry, or medical data analysis role.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of state-specific Trauma Registry reporting requirements is a plus.
- Experience with business analysis and technical configurations.
- Familiarity with state regulatory agencies and compliance standards.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong understanding of trauma or medical practices and terminology such as NTDS/ACS/TQIP.
- Certification in Trauma Registry (CSTR and/or CAISS) or Healthcare Compliance is a plus.
- Proficiency in using the client's Trauma Registry or similar systems.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $35.00 to $40.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
