Interaction Designer (AI-Driven Design / Figma Make AI)
Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite 4 days/week)
Type: W2 Long-Term Contract
Schedule: Monday–Thursday onsite, Fridays remote
Overview
We’re seeking an Interaction Designer to join our client's AI and Design Technology team, focused on exploring how AI-driven workflows and Figma Make AI can revolutionize the way designers work.
This is a hybrid role at the intersection of interaction design, front-end thinking, and AI experimentation—ideal for someone eager to prototype, prompt, and automate faster design output.
You’ll help the team move from concept to iteration in minutes, using generative tools to streamline design workflows and amplify creativity across the UX organization.
Key Responsibilities

Explore and implement Figma Make AI and other AI-powered design tools to improve prototyping and iteration speed

Create design patterns, layouts, and micro-interactions that leverage AI-based automation

Partner with UX Designers, Engineers, and Design Technologists to experiment with prompt-to-design workflows

Build light-weight front-end prototypes using HTML/CSS to test and validate designs

Serve as an AI evangelist—educating teams on how to incorporate AI into their day-to-day design processes

Document best practices, learnings, and frameworks to scale AI design adoption across the org
Required Skills & Experience

4+ years of experience in Interaction Design, Product Design, or Front-End Design

Hands-on experience with Figma, ideally with Figma Make AI or similar AI-assisted tools

Understanding of HTML, CSS, or component-based design systems

Strong grasp of UX principles, responsive design, and prototyping

Curiosity and creativity around AI-driven design, automation, and innovation

The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $50.00 to $85.00/hr.
