Required Skills:
- Proven experience conducting qualitative research, including user interviews, usability testing, and synthesis of insights
- Ability to operationalize quick research cycles and adapt methods for rapid turnarounds
- Strong collaboration skills with design teams to close the loop from insight to iteration
- Excellent communication skills, capable of preparing clear, concise insights and presenting to stakeholders
- Comfort with AI tools in research workflows, such as Claude, Lovable, GitHub Copilot, and Figma Make
- Experience framing problems, identifying opportunity areas, and translating findings into actionable design recommendations
Nice to Have Skills:
- Quantitative research experience, including surveys and basic benchmarking
- Ability to facilitate lightweight workshops (e.g., prioritization sessions, as-is/to-be mapping)
- Experience working with external partners and mirroring best practices
- Familiarity with AI-augmented design and research workflows
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design, or related field
- 5+ years of UX research experience, preferably in fast-paced, collaborative environments involving cross-functional teams and external consultants
The hourly pay rate for this position is $70-85/hr. Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
