Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned AI/ML DevOps Engineer to lead the design, automation, and support of cloud-native infrastructure and pipelines for enterprise-scale AI/ML initiatives. This role will be instrumental in enabling scalable, secure, and reusable AI products across operating companies, with a strong emphasis on Azure and CI/CD automation. Experience with Databricks is a plus, particularly for ingestion and model deployment workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure & Automation
- Architect and manage scalable, secure infrastructure for AI/ML workloads in Azure
- Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines for model training, deployment, and monitoring
- Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Bicep) to ensure repeatable and compliant environments
- Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and cost optimization across cloud environments
- Own and evolve the enterprise MLOps framework, including lifecycle governance and operational standards
- Define and enforce best practices for model deployment, monitoring, and retraining
- Implement observability tools for model performance, data drift, and alerting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver reusable AI components and services
- Support lifecycle management of AI products across business units
- Develop shared templates, APIs, and deployment patterns to accelerate adoption
- Implement enterprise-grade security and compliance controls for AI/ML systems
- Partner with data engineering, DevOps, and business stakeholders to align infrastructure with strategic goals
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to teams adopting MLOps practices
Required
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience:
- 5+ years in cloud engineering or DevOps
- 2+ years in MLOps, AI infrastructure, or ML engineering
- Certifications in Azure, AI/ML, or data engineering
- Experience in the energy sector or multi-business environments
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Apps for operational workflows
- Experience designing reusable AI services or low-code interfaces
- Agile project management experience
