Overview
We’re seeking a Visual Designer to join a high-impact digital experience team on a short-term W2 contract through January 2026. This role will focus on the visual design of chat and messaging interfaces — crafting polished, consistent, and on-brand components that enhance the customer experience across digital touchpoints.
You’ll work closely with conversational designers to bring chatbot and messaging concepts to life — focusing on what the experience looks like, not how it functions. Ideal candidates bring a strong eye for visual detail, mastery of UI layout, and experience working within a design system.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and refine chat and messaging UI elements, including product cards, carousels, delivery trackers, quick replies, and widgets.
- Align all visual outputs with the design system built in Stencil (or similar component libraries).
- Partner with conversational designers, UX peers, and developers to ensure cohesive and accessible UI execution.
- Deliver pixel-perfect visual assets that scale across responsive layouts and platforms.
- Contribute to UI pattern consistency and help refine design documentation where needed.
What We’re Looking For
- 4–7 years of experience in Visual Design, UI Design, or Product Design for digital products.
- Proven experience working within a component-based design system (Stencil, Figma, or similar).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating clean, modern, and scalable UI design.
- Comfort collaborating cross-functionally with UX, product, and conversational design teams.
- Familiarity with conversational or chat-based UI design is a plus, but not required.
Tools & Skills
- Figma, Stencil, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
- Understanding of responsive design, accessibility principles, and digital brand systems.

The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $50 to $70/hr.
