Software Engineer II
TITLE: Software Engineer II
LOCATION: San Diego, California (Hybrid)
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 4-6 months
Responsibilities:
- Develop integration and automation solutions to streamline engineering and validation workflows across multiple teams.
- Build backend tools and services that automate test generation.
- Improve requirements traceability and optimize team workflows.
- Create backend or automation services using Python or Java.
- Integrate tools or databases using REST APIs or webhooks.
- Parse structured documents such as Word, PDF, XML, JSON.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
Requirements:
- Proficiency developing backend or automation services (Python preferred; Java also valuable).
- Experience with Agentic Development, RAG & MCP technologies.
- Familiarity with structured document parsing (Word, PDF, XML, JSON).
- Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of requirements management and validation workflows.
- 3–5 years of experience in automation or integration tools in production environments.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with NLP or text-processing automation.
- Knowledge of Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with Containers and Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $50.00 to $55.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
