UX Designer
Job Title: UX Designer (W2 Contract – High-Visibility Product Experience)
Location: Hybrid – U.S.-based Atlanta, GA (onsite 4 days per week)
Type: W2 Contract to Hire
Duration: 12+ months
Overview
We’re looking for a skilled and confident UX Designer to help shape a high-visibility, customer-facing experience within a large-scale eCommerce ecosystem. This role sits within a product pod that directly impacts how customers browse, discover, and engage with products — a critical touchpoint in the digital shopping journey.
The ideal designer brings strong design fundamentals, a solid grasp of design systems, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment with multiple stakeholders. You’ll collaborate across product, engineering, and business teams to deliver intuitive, high-impact experiences that drive measurable results.
What You’ll Do
-
Design end-to-end user experiences that balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
-
Collaborate with product managers, researchers, and developers to deliver clear, thoughtful design solutions for complex workflows.
-
Contribute to and extend existing design systems, ensuring consistency, scalability, and accessibility across platforms.
-
Create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate ideas clearly and effectively.
-
Present design concepts to cross-functional stakeholders, incorporating feedback while maintaining a strong design rationale.
-
Operate independently with confidence, navigating competing priorities and driving alignment across multiple teams.
What You Bring
-
4–7+ years of UX and UI design experience in large-scale digital products or eCommerce environments.
-
Strong working knowledge of Figma and modern design system practices.
-
Proven ability to manage stakeholder feedback and work autonomously with limited direction.
-
Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to present ideas and defend design decisions diplomatically.
-
A positive, proactive attitude and collaborative mindset — you’re as comfortable leading discussions as you are iterating on feedback.
Nice to Have
-
Experience designing for high-traffic, high-impact product or merchandising surfaces.
-
Familiarity with agile workflows and cross-functional pods.
-
Understanding of accessibility standards and responsive design principles.
