TITLE: Marketing Specialist – Social Media
LOCATION: New York, NY
ANTICIPATED DURATION: From 12/15/2025 to 08/14/2026
Responsibilities:
- Drive mid-size or large-scale projects from start to finish as a key individual contributor.
- Ensure successful execution of marketing campaigns, projects, and programs by managing the full lifecycle, including budget reconciliation and social media promotion.
- Develop strategic project plans or marketing strategies for larger products to build brand recognition.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure campaigns and sponsorships are delivered successfully.
- Create comprehensive internal and external promotion plans to maximize awareness and drive generation before, during, and after campaigns in coordination with growth, content, and design teams.
- Analyze data to uncover new marketing opportunities and audience insights.
- Implement marketing strategies to grow awareness and engagement across social and digital media channels.
- Work with senior marketing leadership to develop project strategies and objectives.
- Identify sponsored project opportunities and develop virtual and physical brand experiences in collaboration with partner marketing teams.
- Engage media agencies to optimize their work and prioritize agency workflows.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure content and campaigns are high-quality, consistent with brand voice, and aligned with strategic goals.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, developing standards for advertising and aligning efforts across marketing functions.
- Track and report on campaign ROI using CRM or project management systems, analyzing effectiveness based on pipeline, revenue, and marketing qualified lead (MQL) metrics.
- Collaborate with sales teams to maximize campaign impact.
- Manage large-scale media planning and coordinate with global media teams.
- Oversee development and analysis of social media content, social selling programs, and activation strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with venues and suppliers, including negotiation, audiovisual planning, activation, swag, and event logistics.
- Lead initiatives for media and public amplification across marketing channels.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in media placement and social media management.
- Strong adaptability and creativity.
- Experience with influencer marketing and event management.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of SEO, deal negotiation, and consumer behavior.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Skills in data analysis and synthesis, stakeholder engagement, and project management.
Preferred Experience:
- Social media marketing for a well-known consumer brand.
- Relevant experience in developing marketing strategies and managing campaigns.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Ability to analyze and report on campaign ROI.
- Experience in virtual and physical event planning and activation.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $71.06 to $92.42 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
