Job Title: Systems & DevOps Engineer
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Duluth/Alpharetta/Johns Creek, GA – onsite
Direct Hire: $110K – 120K


Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems & DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, maintain, and optimize enterprise infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. This role will support Windows and Linux systems, Azure cloud services, virtualization, DevOps pipelines, databases, and enterprise monitoring and backup solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong automation, troubleshooting, and deployment experience across infrastructure and application platforms.


Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Systems Administration

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server 2019 / 2025 and Linux Ubuntu 22.04 / 24.04

  • Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Objects (GPO)

  • Administer VMware virtual environments

  • Implement and maintain Windows Failover Clustering

  • Configure and support IIS web services

  • Support Office 365 suite administration

Cloud & DevOps

  • Design and manage solutions in Microsoft Azure

  • Build and maintain DevOps deployment pipelines using GitLab and Azure tools

  • Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes

  • Configure Azure Data Factory pipelines

  • Deploy static and dynamic web applications in Azure

  • Maintain source control and CI/CD using GitLab

  • Track and manage work using JIRA

Database & Application Support

  • Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server 2019 / 2025

  • Implement SQL Availability Groups

  • Modify and optimize stored procedures

  • Support application hosting and performance monitoring

Backup, Monitoring & Operations

  • Deploy and manage Veeam Backup & Replication, including Azure-based backup servers

  • Install, configure, and migrate monitoring using ManageEngine Operations Manager and Applications Manager

  • Administer ServiceDesk Plus

  • Implement centralized logging, including migration to syslog hosts

  • Manage privileged access and remote connections using Devolutions

  • Provision and configure a SQL Server environment

  • Create and maintain CI/CD DevOps pipelines for application deployments

  • Install and migrate monitoring configurations to a new ManageEngine Applications Manager

  • Migrate server logging to a centralized syslog host

  • Stand up a new Veeam Backup Server in Azure

  • Configure and deploy Azure Data Factory pipelines

  • Deploy static and web applications in Azure

  • Install and configure IIS

  • Modify and optimize SQL stored procedures

The compensation range for this position is $110,000.00 to $120,000.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
