Technology Specialist
TITLE: Windows Support Specialist
LOCATION: Neenah, WI fully onsite
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 12-18 months
RATE: $32-40/hr W2
Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day operations of PCs, servers, and networking equipment for the manufacturing location
- Coordinate small to medium-sized IT projects for the plant and contribute to large IT projects
- Install and support network equipment, including handheld RF scanners
- Coordinate or perform server installations, upgrades, and maintenance
- Manage PC support, imaging, troubleshooting, and inventory through Service Now
- Support and manage multi-function device and printer fleet
- Install and support unified communications equipment
- Assist with mobility services and new equipment requests
- Document and coordinate IT hardware surplus processes
- Provide operational support for computer systems and applications at the site
- Lead planning and execution of cyber and infrastructure projects
- Manage local infrastructure vendor work and ensure system compliance
- Review and control access to sensitive areas
- Maintain the site IT Business Continuity Plan and 1-3 year IT plan
- Act as liaison between the mill and centralized technology teams
- Support site IT administration and onboarding procedures
- Educate users on available technologies and manage communication for technology implementations
- Demonstrate customer service and problem-solving skills
Requirements:
- College Associate Degree
- 5 years of relevant experience with demonstrated skills or 7-9+ years of applied experience
- Troubleshooting skills for computer issues
- Familiarity with Windows XP/7/10/11, Windows Server, SQL Server, Cisco Networking, LAN and Wireless networks, Firewalls, Microsoft Office, Office 365, SharePoint, smartphones, and tablets (iOS, Android)
- Experience with Service Now ticketing system for incident and request tracking
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $32.00 to $40.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
