TITLE: Quality Analyst III

LOCATION: Cupertino, CA (hybrid, on-site Tuesday – Thursday)

ANTICIPATED DURATION: 12 months

Responsibilities:

  • Own the catalogue of regression test suites for software running health algorithms on watchOS and iOS devices.
  • Design and recommend logging telemetry to improve failure analysis and field performance metrics, and efficiently gather and present quality metrics.
  • Participate and/or drive post mortem discussions to think strategically about how to prevent similar issues in the future.
  • Test sophisticated health features on next version of Watch hardware and watchOS.
  • Build and maintain scalable test automation and infrastructure to support testing activities.
  • Manage test lab hosting automation test agents and supported devices.
  • Develop solutions to automate testing and triaging workflows, ensuring robustness and scalability.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to understand development, testing, and sustainment workflows.
  • Provide timely and actionable feedback to development partners before product release.
  • Compose, execute, and troubleshoot tests to ensure high product quality.
  • Generate test summary reports and monitor production performance using telemetry dashboards.



Requirements:

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a SDET, Automation Engineer, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Shell.
  • Experience with testing methodologies and tools, frameworks, and pipelines.
  • Skilled in diagnosing and debugging hardware/software complex systems.
  • Ability to identify automation requirements and implement effective solutions.
  • Experience compiling and sending test summary reports.
  • Knowledge of telemetry and dashboard creation for monitoring performance.
  • Experience managing test passes and software releases, including updates.
  • Ability to oversee contractor deliverables and manage project timelines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.



Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with testing algorithms and health-regulated software.
  • Familiarity with digital signal processing.
  • Knowledge of testing embedded devices and KPI dashboards.
  • Understanding of Macintosh systems, Mac OS, or UNIX variants.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic about user-focused design and high-quality products.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interaction with development teams and management.



The hourly pay rate range for this position is $70 to $74.63 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
