Hybrid in Omaha, Chicago, or New York
Are you a strategic sales professional passionate about delivering value and fostering growth? We’re seeking a dynamic Account Director to lead our efforts in the State and Local Government market, helping clients succeed while expanding our footprint.
As an integral part of our team, you will leverage your expertise to build strong relationships, understand client objectives deeply, and craft tailored solutions that align with their goals. Your strategic insights and proactive approach will ensure long-term customer success and revenue growth, all while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of applicable sales experience, ideally in SaaS, HR solutions, or IT services
- Proven success in prospecting, pipeline development, and closing sales within government sectors
- Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills across multiple levels
- Strong negotiation, forecasting, and account planning capabilities
- Data-driven decision-making with experience in CRM tools like Microsoft Dynamics
- Excellent presentation, discovery, and objection-handling skills
- Self-starter with a problem-solving mindset and adaptability to change
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience selling eLearning or hiring SaaS solutions
- Knowledge of government procurement processes and software contracts
- Ability to craft effective territory and penetration strategies
- Resilience and growth mindset, with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or related fields
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas in government markets
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $50.00 to $70.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
