Role Overview:
The Operations Lead is a strategic and operational leader responsible for managing the vendor team that executes the day-to-day operations of the credit issuance program. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence, managing team performance, serving as the primary liaison to stakeholders, and driving continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate is an experienced program manager and people leader adept at navigating complex systems and managing stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all daily operational workflows, including request intake, compliance checks, award issuance, and recipient troubleshooting.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for program managers, providing updates and managing expectations.
- Lead team meetings, including weekly operational syncs and monthly/quarterly business reviews (MBRs/QBRs), presenting performance data and strategic insights.
- Actively manage team performance, coaching members to meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as resolution times and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex recipient issues, technical barriers, and cases requiring independent judgment.
- Identify and drive process optimization initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance the recipient experience.
- Manage and balance team workload, conduct interviews for open positions, and onboard new team members.
- Minimum Qualifications:
- 5-7+ years of experience in program management, operations, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience leading a team, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present data and influence outcomes with senior partners.
- Proven problem-solving skills and a track record of driving process improvements.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a vendor-managed service environment.
- Proficiency with Salesforce (or a similar CRM) and Business Intelligence tools like Looker.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform) and financial/billing processes.
The salary range for this position is $110,000.00 – 115,000.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
