TITLE: Power BI Developer
LOCATION: Atlanta, GA or Birmingham, AL (remote but needs to be in footprint for occasional meetings)
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 6 month contract to perm

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Power BI.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate reporting requirements into effective report designs.
  • Retrieve and manipulate data from various sources, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
  • Implement and optimize data models to support reporting needs.
  • Create and maintain documentation for reports, including data definitions and user guides.
  • Perform root cause analysis on data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Troubleshoot report-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Conduct testing and analysis of reports to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
  • Stay up to date with trends and technologies in report development and data visualization.
  • Build effective relationships with peers, business partners, and customers.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in report development.
  • Extensive experience in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
  • Deep experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools.
  • Proficiency in data quality and validation techniques.
  • Knowledge of Oracle MDM and Oracle CC&B (preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in analytics, computer science, information systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with data visualization best practices and design principles.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and database management.
  • Knowledge of energy industry-specific reporting requirements and metrics is a plus.

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $55.00 to $65.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
