TITLE: Project Manager: III (Senior)

LOCATION: Atlanta, GA 

ANTICIPATED DURATION: From 03/02/2026 to 09/04/2026

Responsibilities:

  • Provide status updates for executive and leadership reporting, ensuring alignment on key project milestones, progress, and any blockers.
  • Own project-level risks, issues, and blockers, ensuring that all concerns are escalated in a timely manner for resolution.
  • Facilitate the Scrum process: Conducting Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Standup, Sprint Review, Story Refinement Sessions/Backlog Grooming, and Sprint Retrospectives (as applicable).
  • Keep the team organized, on track, and focused on priorities.
  • Responsible for story management per PMO and Program Management Standards/Guidelines.
  • Work with Scrum/Project Teams to keep stories updated to reflect current status.
  • Assist Process Owners/Managers in coordinating content for Program Increment (PI) demos.
  • Support Process/Product Owners by helping to organize and prioritize the backlog, ensuring that the team is prepared to present their plans effectively during PI Planning.
  • Provide program-level guidance on Agile/Jira standards and frameworks.
  • Identify gaps, set consistent expectations, and standardize practices across all ITSMO Scrum teams.
  • Act as a liaison between the leadership team and the project teams, ensuring that leadership’s priorities are communicated effectively.
  • Develop Jira boards, project plans, and drive project milestones.
  • Establish effective communication plans with project team and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective change management throughout the project.
  • Responsible for preparation of documentation, daily stand-ups, status reports, and time accounting.

Requirements:

  • Data background.
  • Experience with Data Governance, Teradata, and Databricks is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Specialized knowledge of JIRA, Agile SCRUM, Visio, Excel, Word.
  • Must have CSM.

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $55.00 to $75.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
