Technical Product Manager
W2 contract until 12/31/26 – potential to extend
3 days onsite in Atlanta GA, Minneapolis MN, Charlotte North Carolina, Irving Dallas, San Francisco CA, Chicago IL
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and business partners to define digital capabilities and experiences, aligning with enterprise strategies.
- Establish, monitor, and communicate product priorities and performance metrics across departments.
- Partner with capability managers, delivery managers, architects, UX designers, scrum masters, and other product managers to facilitate solution execution.
- Conduct data analysis and customer research to identify problems and develop solutions.
- Define, sequence, and implement the digital Move Money experience roadmap in collaboration with business lines and functions.
- Advocate for customer-obsessed, simple, frictionless, and innovative digital products and experiences.
- Present persuasively to peers and leaders, facilitating collaborative discussions.
- Create and maintain experience roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
- Manage the product lifecycle from concept through research, co-creation, and prototyping.
- Articulate trade-offs between KPIs measuring customer experience and KRIs assessing risk.
- Utilize analytics to drive innovative, impactful customer experiences.
- Manage product artifacts such as roadmaps, gap analyses, journey maps, and experience inventories, evolving them as the business grows.
- Work with product, design, and operations teams to deliver innovative products for learners.
- Support product development processes and report on user responses.
- Coordinate with engineering and design teams for strategic planning.
- Assess partnerships and licensing opportunities with external parties.
- Run beta and pilot programs, becoming an expert on competition.
- Demonstrate technical fluency to discuss architectural concepts and prioritize features and technical improvements.
- Communicate complex technical ideas clearly to executives, stakeholders, and engineers.
- Work with engineering to deliver scalable software solutions.
- Define and prioritize product roadmaps and features in collaboration with business lines.
- Translate business and user needs into detailed user stories and specifications.
- Document acceptance criteria for development and QA teams.
- Drive Agile methodologies, owning backlogs and managing epics, features, and user stories.
- Define success criteria for objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
- 5 or more years of product management experience.
- Experience with digital product development in an Agile environment.
- Strategic and implementation experience within a matrixed organization.
- Knowledge of competitive markets, operations, and products/services in financial or consumer industries.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong PowerPoint skills a plus.
- Financial and competitive analysis capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience as a technical product manager, product owner, or solutions architect.
- Proven background as a software engineer, data engineer, or SDET.
- Technical fluency to discuss architecture, trade-offs, and opportunities.
- Ability to understand technical issues for prioritization and technical debt management.
Preferred Experience:
- Considerable experience with digital product development in an Agile environment.
- Extensive product/program development, implementation, and strategic analysis experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial services or related consumer industries.
- Well-developed communication skills targeting various audiences.
- Strong analytical skills related to market and competition analysis.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $65.00 to $77.16 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
