TITLE: Scrum Master II

ANTICIPATED DURATION: From 04/06/2026 to 12/31/2026

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the adoption of the Scrum Framework, including daily scrums, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Support scaled agile events such as cross-team planning and dependency management
  • Prepare and facilitate quarterly, release, and sprint planning sessions
  • Guide feature and story refinement to meet readiness criteria
  • Maintain a healthy backlog and support short and mid-term planning
  • Remove impediments and engage stakeholders to support team performance
  • Support communication of delivery progress and obstacles
  • Facilitate cross-team coordination and manage dependencies
  • Promote psychological safety and trust within the team
  • Develop and refine team working agreements and definitions of “ready” and “done”
  • Share team metrics and foster continuous improvement conversations
  • Strong Kanban management expertise to optimize flow and predictability
  • Effective facilitation and team coaching skills to build trust and foster self-organization
  • Experience in scaled Agile environments with cross-team planning and alignment
  • Strong delivery discipline, backlog management, and clear stakeholder communication

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master
  • Working experience with Scrum, Kanban, and Agile scaling frameworks (preferably SAFe)
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in information technology)
  • Scrum Master certification or equivalent professional certification is a big plus
  • Residency in the Atlanta, Georgia area
  • Willingness and ability to receive constructive feedback with a growth mindset
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, particularly over Microsoft Teams

Preferred Experience:

  • Strong Kanban management expertise, including flow‑based metrics and backlog flow optimization
  • Experience coaching teams through agile and spec-driven development transformations
  • Hands-on experience in early industry adoption of agile practices
