Experience Designer (Internal Tools / ServiceNow)
Location: Hybrid in Minneapolis/St. Paul, San Francisco Bay, Atlanta, New York City, Irving (Dallas/Fort Worth), Charlotte, Chicago, Cincinnati – 3 days onsite (Tues–Thurs)
Duration: W2 Contract through end of 2026
About the Role
We’re looking for an Experience Designer to help design and improve employee-facing tools used by internal support teams. These tools enable staff to assist customers through ticketing workflows, chat, and email—primarily within the ServiceNow platform.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex, systems-driven environments and enjoys working closely with engineering to rapidly iterate on workflow-heavy experiences.
What You’ll Be Doing

Design and evolve internal support tools that allow employees to:

Open, manage, and track tickets

Communicate with customers via chat and email

Create and refine end-to-end user journeys and workflows across internal systems

Translate complex requirements and data into clear, usable experiences

Work directly with developers to:

Rapidly prototype and iterate on solutions
-
Test ideas in real time (“what if we try this?” approach)

Participate in:

Regular team collaboration sessions
-
Weekly stakeholder reviews
-
Ongoing design critiques and idea sharing across the broader UX team

What They’re Looking For

Strong experience in UX/Product Design (typically 3–5+ years)

Proven ability to design complex workflows and systems

Experience working on:

Internal tools or enterprise applications

Data-heavy or process-driven interfaces

Comfortable in highly collaborative, developer-integrated environments

Why This Role
This is a great opportunity to work on high-impact internal systems that support both employees and customers—solving complex problems and shaping tools used daily at scale.
The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $60.00 to $68.97/hr.
