About the Role
We’re looking for an Experience Designer to support a high-impact initiative focused on consumer application experiences across branch-assisted and digital channels.
In this role, you’ll design banker-facing application workflows—tools that enable employees to guide customers through applying for financial products. You’ll work across both in-branch and cloud-based experiences, helping unify and elevate complex, multi-channel journeys.
This is a highly visible role that blends hands-on design execution, systems thinking, and cross-functional collaboration within a large-scale digital transformation effort.
What You’ll Be Doing

- Discovery, user flows, wireframes, prototyping, and final UI
- Design banker-assisted workflows that support customer product applications
- Improve and evolve existing experiences, addressing gaps, defects, and usability issues
- Create interaction models, documentation, and annotated specs for engineering handoff
- Partner closely with:
- Product Managers
- Engineers
- Content Strategists
- Researchers
- Accessibility partners
- Collaborate with an offshore designer to guide and scale design execution
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and help shape UX priorities across the team
- Present and articulate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders
What They’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of experience in UX/Product/Interaction Design (5+ preferred)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating:
- End-to-end design of complex workflows or systems
- Clear thinking and intentional decision-making
- Expertise in:
- User flows, interaction design, and prototyping
- Design systems and scalable UI patterns
- Proficiency in Figma
- Experience working in Agile product environments
- Strong communication and storytelling skills—able to clearly explain the “why” behind design decisions
Nice to Have
- Experience in financial services, fintech, or regulated environments
- Familiarity with:
- Multi-channel experiences (assisted + digital)
- Experience working with distributed or offshore teams
What Success Looks Like
- You can simplify complex, compliance-heavy workflows into intuitive experiences
- You bring a strong systems-thinking mindset and understand how components scale
- You’re highly intentional in your design decisions and can clearly articulate your reasoning
- You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with engineering
- You balance detail-oriented execution with strategic thinking
Team & Culture
- Highly collaborative, cross-functional team
- Strong emphasis on:
- Intentional design thinking
- Interaction design quality
- Design system consistency
- Fast-moving environment with a focus on iteration and continuous improvement
Interview Process
- Round 1: Portfolio deep dive (focus on process, decisions, and interaction design)
- Round 2: Panel interview with cross-functional team
