We are seeking a seasoned IT Project Manager IV to lead large-scale, transformative technology initiatives within the power and utility sector. This high-impact role offers the opportunity to manage complex projects, such as Advanced Metering Infrastructure and large electric utility systems, ensuring seamless integration and delivery. Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience supporting enterprise-level IT initiatives.
  • Expertise in managing large projects across scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, dashboards, and reporting tools.
  • Broad IT infrastructure knowledge, ensuring comprehensive project delivery.
  • Experience with solution blueprinting, implementation planning, and end-to-end project management.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure), smart grid, and electric utility systems.
  • Experience with system integrations (MDMS, OMS, SAP) and cloud migration projects.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Exposure to AMI 1.0 or 2.0 projects.
  • Knowledge of on-premise to cloud migration.
  • Experience with technical documentation and process mapping.
  • Vendor coordination and supervision experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or computer science.
  • 7 to 10 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Prior experience supporting large electric utility or smart grid projects.

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to work in a hybrid environment (2 days onsite) if local to LA, Riverside, Orange, or San Bernardino Counties.
  • Ability to support an 18+ month project timeline, with adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Certifications like PMP are advantageous but not mandatory.

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $80.00 to $95.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
