TITLE: UX Architect
LOCATION: Hybrid – Atlanta, GA
ANTICIPATED DURATION: From 05/04/2026 to 12/31/2026
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver end-to-end user experiences for complex products, workflows, and system-driven interfaces.
- Execute UI/UX design work for assigned product areas as an individual contributor, producing build-ready designs and clear implementation guidance.
- Partner closely with a Lead Experience Designer to align work to broader experience strategy and design direction.
- Collaborate with a Content Designer to ensure language, structure, and interaction design work together coherently.
- Translate business objectives, system constraints, and observed user behavior into pragmatic design solutions.
- Frame ambiguous problems, decompose them into solvable parts, and make progress with incomplete information.
- Apply data and system modeling literacy to interface and interaction design, ensuring alignment with backend realities and user mental models.
- Develop and apply personas grounded in real customer behavior and operational context.
- Contribute to and work within established design systems with consistency and discipline.
- Operate effectively within existing product, technical, and organizational processes without requiring greenfield conditions.
- Collaborate day-to-day with product managers, engineers, and partners with clear role awareness and ownership.
- Maintain high design throughput while exercising strong judgment around usability, feasibility, and impact.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a design-related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- 3–5 years of professional UX or product design experience delivering real, shipped products.
- Experience working in regulated, enterprise, or otherwise complex domains.
- Strong product and domain understanding, with the ability to design effectively within constrained or legacy systems.
- Demonstrated ability to frame problems, reason through ambiguity, and make independent decisions with partial information.
- Working literacy in data structures, system models, and technical constraints as they relate to UI and interaction design.
- Proven experience developing personas and design insights grounded in real user behavior rather than hypothetical constructs.
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including disciplined contribution to shared design systems and component libraries.
- Ability to enter existing products, workflows, and team processes quickly and deliver value without extensive onboarding.
- Clear role awareness and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
- High-throughput design execution capability, producing implementation-ready assets and specifications.
- Strong design judgment, consistently tying decisions to user impact, business outcomes, and delivery feasibility.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in regulated, enterprise, or complex domains.
- Knowledge of data structures and system models related to UI design.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proven success in collaborative and cross-functional team environments.
- Experience with design systems and component libraries in Figma.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $0.00 to $68.97 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
