TITLE: Sr. Substation Design Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Performs physical or structural design of highly complex electrical power substations.
- Creates drawings, specifications, and contract documents for construction or equipment procurement.
- Applies standard and unique design techniques and criteria for design development.
- Leads the development and modification of design standards.
- Conducts design reviews of complex projects.
- Provides technical consultation and support within the engineering department and to external entities such as Electric Membership Cooperatives.
- Conducts engineering studies, evaluates materials, and develops recommendations.
- Initiates and leads process improvement initiatives.
- Prepares RFQ documents for consultant solicitation and manages communication through the award process.
- Serves as Project Engineer for consultant-led projects, ensuring timely delivery of project objectives.
- Communicates schedule changes to the project team as needed.

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $80.00 to $100.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
