    About the Role

We’re looking for a Service Designer to lead the definition and evolution of end-to-end service experiences across both customer-facing and internal operational journeys.

This is a highly strategic role focused on journey mapping, service blueprinting, and executive-level storytelling — connecting customer needs, business goals, and operational realities into clear, actionable service models.

You’ll work across product, operations, research, and business teams to identify gaps, align stakeholders, and drive service transformation initiatives at scale.

    What You’ll Do

Lead end-to-end journey mapping efforts across complex service ecosystems (customer + internal workflows)

Translate research and discovery into clear service strategies, recommendations, and future-state models

Create and deliver compelling executive-level presentations and narratives that influence direction and decision-making
Partner cross-functionally with product, design, operations, and business leaders to align on service vision and execution
Identify and define service gaps, pain points, and opportunities across the full lifecycle
Support both customer experience improvements and internal process optimization

    What We’re Looking For

5–8+ years of experience in Service Design, Experience Strategy, or CX Strategy
Proven experience delivering journey maps, service blueprints, and end-to-end service models
Strong facilitation skills — comfortable leading workshops, co-creation sessions, and stakeholder alignment discussions
Demonstrated ability to present to and influence executive stakeholders through storytelling and clear frameworks
Experience working across cross-functional teams (product, operations, engineering, research, business)
Strong systems thinking — ability to connect customer journeys with internal processes and operational realities
Background in consulting, retail, e-commerce, or large enterprise environments preferred
Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and shaping direction from loosely defined problems

Tools & Methods (Nice to Have)

Journey mapping, service blueprinting, ecosystem mapping
Facilitation frameworks (Design Thinking, co-creation, workshops)
Tools like Miro, Figma, Adobe, PowerPoint/Keynote
    Research synthesis tools (e.g., Dovetail)

The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $50.00 to $55.00/hr. Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.

Synergis is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. We value diversity and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, age, gender, gender identity, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, military/veteran status, or any other status protected by applicable law.
