Business Analyst
TITLE: Business Analyst
LOCATION: Minneapolis, MN (hybrid, on-site Tuesday – Thursday)
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 6 months
Responsibilities:
- Lead the modernization and streamlining of compensation-related risk reporting processes.
- Assess existing MS Access and Excel-based reporting processes and identify automation opportunities.
- Redesign workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Develop solutions using Power Automate, Power BI, and advanced Excel capabilities.
- Lead end-to-end business requirements definition, including discovery, analysis, documentation, and validation.
- Create detailed business requirements, process flows, use cases, test plans, and training materials.
- Conduct needs analysis to ensure solutions meet evolving expectations and compliance.
- Serve as the primary liaison between client subject matter experts and technical teams.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for development.
- Support system design, user acceptance testing, issue resolution, and deployment.
- Oversee business-to-system knowledge management and maintain comprehensive documentation.
Requirements:
- Strong expertise with MS Access and Excel, including advanced functions and data transformation.
- Workday Report Writing skills.
- Proven experience modernizing legacy processes using Power BI and Power Automate.
- Ability to design efficient, scalable solutions that improve existing workflows.
- Success in business requirements gathering, process analysis, and documentation creation.
- Experience developing use cases, test plans, and training materials.
- Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Creative problem-solver able to rethink end-to-end processes.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $60 to $64.33 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
