Business Operations Manager
W2 contract until 1/2027 – potential to extend
3 days onsite in Cupertino CA
In this pivotal role, you will oversee day-to-day payment operations for flagship products. Your expertise will help manage a diverse array of payment methods—including credit/debit cards, digital wallets, online banking, gift cards, and store credit—across multiple geographies. As a key contributor, you’ll coordinate cross-functional communication, track and resolve operational issues, oversee testing workflows, and monitor partner performance to uphold the highest standards of reliability and compliance.
Required Skills:
- Deep understanding of credit card, digital wallet, and alternative payment method functionalities
- Knowledge of risk management and compliance controls in the payments industry
- Proven ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex operational challenges
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage at all organizational levels
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving business requirements and operating in ambiguity
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience in operations support and project management
Nice to Have Skills:
- Familiarity with transactional, finance, and reporting systems and flows
- Experience working with technical teams on payment project testing and implementation
- Knowledge of global payment regulations and compliance standards
- Prior experience supporting payment platforms or in a fast-growth environment
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in payment operations, project management, or business process optimization
- Prior experience working in or with high-growth technology companies is a plus
The hourly pay rate for this position is $70.00-74.00/hr. Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
