TITLE: Data Analyst
LOCATION: Atlanta, GA (on-site up to 4 days a week)
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 3-month contract (potential for extension)
The Customer Insights (CI) team at our client’s is seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst to support internal customer data analysis and reporting. This role will partner closely with multiple CI branches, including Market Research, Customer Experience, and Internal Data Analysis, to deliver insights that shape strategic decisions. The analyst will focus primarily on internal behavioral data while cross-referencing survey and Voice of Customer (VOC) insights to validate trends and provide a comprehensive view of the customer experience.
This role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on SQL experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively with offshore engineering teams and internal stakeholders. Candidates should also bring a mix of business analysis and light project management experience to help streamline processes and ensure consistency across ongoing initiatives.
Data Analyst Responsibilities:
- Write and validate SQL queries (simple joins, filters, aggregations) to pull and analyze large datasets from platforms including Google BigQuery and Snowflake.
- Develop Tableau dashboards and visualizations to communicate customer behavior and survey insights across the organization.
- Cross-reference internal data with market-level survey research and VOC data to validate and enrich customer insights.
- Support the segmentation model currently in production by defining responsibilities, documenting processes, and creating contingency plans.
- Partner with offshore data engineering teams to manage business-as-usual reporting and free up internal bandwidth for strategic initiatives.
- Assist in project management and coordination of customer insights projects, including stakeholder communication, documentation, and process mapping.
- Leverage large language models (LLMs) and other emerging techniques to extract themes and sentiment from customer feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Market Research, Customer Experience, and IT teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability of data products.
- 3–5 years of experience in data analysis or business/data analyst roles.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (must-have), including writing queries to join tables and validate datasets.
- Experience with Google BigQuery; Snowflake experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Tableau for dashboard and visualization development.
- Familiarity with predictive or statistical modeling concepts is preferred.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate technical findings into business insights.
- Experience working with offshore vendor teams is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate across teams, and contribute to both data analysis and project management activities.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $40 to $60 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
