This role will oversee critical aspects of network infrastructure delivery, coordinating across construction, security, and telecom functions to ensure timely, high-quality project execution.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in data center construction, structured fiber, security systems integration, and vendor management. This position requires both strategic oversight and hands-on fieldwork, including site walks, quality reviews, and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Project Oversight & Coordination

  • Facilitate kickoff meetings for structured fiber, security, and radio systems.

  • Conduct regular site walks to monitor progress, review construction quality, and ensure EH&S compliance.

  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to capture requirements, align expectations, and maintain support throughout project lifecycle.

Construction & Technical Management

  • Oversee structured fiber planning, design reviews, and milestone adherence.

  • Coordinate with general contractors, telecom vendors, and security integrators for seamless execution.

  • Manage procurement of owner-furnished materials, including switches, WAPs, fiber, and security hardware.

  • Track material logistics from order to onsite delivery; resolve discrepancies or missing items.

  • Support RFI, submittal, and scope review processes with GC and AE partners.

Project Controls & Reporting

  • Develop and manage project scope, budget, schedule, and risk registers.

  • Provide weekly progress updates and maintain milestone reporting trackers.

  • Review and approve invoices, track cashflow, and ensure monthly financial actualization.

  • Monitor SLA commitments, manage escalations, and document post-mortems when required.

  • Drive quality assurance using standardized QA/QC checklists and ensure warranty closeout of project issues.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Coordinate onboarding and compliance for telecom/security vendors and subcontractors.

  • Facilitate communication between contractors, general contractors, and owner representatives.

  • Lead productivity, safety, and quality tracking across subcontractor labor.

  • Ensure consistency in delivery despite demand fluctuations, onboarding additional labor when necessary.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of project management experience in data center construction, network infrastructure, or large-scale telecom/security projects.

  • Strong knowledge of structured cabling, fiber installation, and data center network systems.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams including construction managers, contractors, engineers, and security professionals.

  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, change management, and risk mitigation.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to conduct onsite site walks and ensure EH&S compliance.
