In this high-impact position, you will lead efforts to enhance deployment processes, optimize cloud infrastructure, and ensure seamless operations of critical medical records platforms. Your technical expertise will directly contribute to empowering patients with greater access and control over their health data, making a tangible difference in lives every day.
Required Skills:
- Strong programming and scripting skills, especially with Python
- Extensive experience in designing and managing production Unix container ecosystems (Docker, EKS, Fargate/ECS, Kubernetes)
- Proven ability to architect and manage secure cloud platforms (AWS, GCE, Azure) using Infrastructure as Code
- Expertise in building and managing monitoring and alerting systems with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Splunk, and DataDog
- Skilled in JVM application management, NoSQL databases, CDN technologies, network analysis, and distributed systems
- Experience with microservices architectures, deploying scalable and fault-tolerant infrastructure
- Ability to troubleshoot large-scale production issues collaboratively
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working with Java, Scala, and Gradle
- Familiarity with performance testing and optimization
- Knowledge of security best practices for cloud infrastructures
- Prior experience with microservices architecture design and implementation
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5 to 8 years of progressively responsible DevOps experience, with a focus on cloud platforms and microservices
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment
Other Requirements:
- Hybrid work schedule with three days onsite in Sunnyvale, CA
- Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) are advantageous but not mandatory
- Willingness to be hands-on and actively participate in on-call rotations to troubleshoot and resolve issues

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $80.00 to $107.46 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
