TITLE: Director of Information Technology (Infrastructure / Network)
LOCATION: Alpharetta, GA (onsite position)
PERM ROLE
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a multi-year IT roadmap aligned with company growth and operational goals.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on technology investments, risks, and trade-offs.
- Establish IT governance, policies, and standards across all subsidiaries.
- Personally architect, manage, and optimize the global network and infrastructure environment, with a strong emphasis on Cisco Meraki.
- Provide hands-on ownership of enterprise systems, including Deltek Costpoint, ensuring stability, performance, and data integrity.
- Lead the physical IT buildout and transition for an upcoming office relocation, coordinating vendors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure minimal downtime.
- Balance global standardization with regional needs across international subsidiaries.
- Design and maintain disaster recovery, business continuity, and incident response capabilities.
- Own the organization’s cybersecurity posture, from prevention through incident response.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and regulatory requirements, including those tied to government and regulated environments.
- Guide readiness and controls related to CMMC and similar frameworks (as applicable).
- Lead and mentor a small, high-impact IT team (network, systems, and security).
- Act as a technical mentor, filling knowledge gaps and elevating team capability.
- Manage vendors and consultants, including performance and contract negotiation.
- Own IT operating and capital budgets.
- Prioritize investments based on business value, risk, and ROI.
- Drive cost optimization without sacrificing security or reliability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including senior leadership.
- Proven experience leading infrastructure, networking, enterprise systems, and cybersecurity in complex environments.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to translate technical decisions into business outcomes.
- Experience managing budgets, vendors, and multi-entity or global initiatives.
- Willingness and ability to remain technically hands-on.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience supporting global organizations with distributed teams.
- Deep experience with Cisco Meraki environments.
- Experience administering Deltek Costpoint or similar project-based ERP platforms.
- Exposure to government contracting or regulated environments.
- Experience with CMMC readiness or compliance.
- Background leading digital transformation in complex organizations.
The compensation range for this position is $170,000.00 to $205,000.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
