Overview:
We are seeking two experienced Epic-certified professionals with strong application analysis, design, and troubleshooting expertise. Candidates must have a minimum of three years of post-certification experience and a solid understanding of healthcare workflows to support Epic application configuration and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure Epic applications (ASAP) to meet organizational and business requirements.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and define system requirements.

  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and design, build, and test system solutions.

  • Conduct detailed analyses of workflows, data collection, and reporting requirements.

  • Develop and execute test plans for configuration validation; troubleshoot and resolve issues.

  • Document internal decisions that guide application design and configuration.

  • Evaluate and test new software releases; manage system updates and communicate changes to users prior to deployment.

  • Provide post-deployment support by addressing user inquiries and making necessary adjustments.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams responsible for process design, interfaces, testing, and implementation.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Epic Certification in ASAP, held for at least 3 years.

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on Epic configuration and application implementation experience post-certification.

  • Proven expertise in detailed analysis and healthcare information systems.

  • Database management and basic software configuration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional Epic certifications such as Orders, Order Transmittal, or Ambulatory.

  • Experience with Nursing, ED, and Operating Room workflows.

  • Strong understanding of Epic data structures and interpretation of clinical data elements.

Education:

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Healthcare, Business, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and results-oriented mindset.

  • Excellent project management and multitasking abilities; able to drive projects to completion.

  • Effective issue resolution and system integration skills.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service.

  • Ability to adapt and remain flexible while working with teams that may have differing priorities.

    The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $80.00 to $90.00/hr. Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
