💼 W2 Contract through December 2025 (extensions possible)
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Epic Application Analyst (Ambulatory) with deep experience in application configuration, analysis, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for aligning Epic system functionality with business and care delivery requirements, ensuring optimal performance across multiple markets. This role requires both technical expertise and the ability to collaborate closely with business stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Configure and optimize Epic applications to meet organizational and user requirements.

Translate business needs into technical specifications and implement system changes.

Analyze workflows, data collection processes, reporting requirements, and technical dependencies.

Develop and execute test plans, validating configuration and troubleshooting issues.

Document system design decisions, processes, and configurations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process design, system interfaces, testing, and implementation.

Evaluate and test new Epic software releases, ensuring readiness prior to deployment.

Manage system updates and communicate changes effectively to end users.

Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for the Ambulatory module.
Required Qualifications
-
6+ years of hands-on experience in Epic configuration and application implementation post-certification.

Proven expertise in detailed analysis, build, and support of the Epic Ambulatory module.

Strong understanding of healthcare information systems and workflow alignment.

Epic certification(s) in Ambulatory (active or previously certified with strong proficiency).
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the healthcare industry.

Strong understanding of Epic data structures and hierarchy interpretation.

Ability to work flexible hours, including late evenings (e.g., 9 PM regional cutovers).
Education

Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Healthcare, Business, or a related field.

The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $80.00 to $90.00/hr. Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
