Overview
We are seeking an experienced Epic Prelude Analyst to join our team. This role requires strong application analysis, configuration expertise, and the ability to translate business processes into Epic solutions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and able to work independently while collaborating with business and IT partners.
Key Responsibilities

Configure and build Epic Prelude functionality to align with organizational requirements.

Partner with business and IT stakeholders to understand workflows, translate needs into technical specifications, and deliver accurate solutions.

Conduct workflow and process analyses, identifying opportunities for optimization.

Develop and execute test plans, troubleshoot configuration issues, and validate solutions.

Maintain documentation of configuration decisions and processes.

Collaborate with teams on system interfaces, upgrades, testing, and implementation.

Evaluate new Epic software releases, test thoroughly, and manage updates.

Clearly communicate status and meet project deadlines.
Required Qualifications
-
Minimum of 4 years of related experience, with at least 6 years of hands-on Epic configuration and application implementation post-certification.

Current Epic Prelude Certification (must be active and held for at least 6 years).

Strong technical and analytical skills with proven accuracy and autonomy.

Effective communicator with the ability to consult and collaborate across teams.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Healthcare, Business, or related field (preferred; minimum High School diploma required).

Familiarity with MS Office Suite.

Experience in healthcare operations and Epic data structures.

The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $80.00 to $90.00/hr. Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
